I just found a website called I Love Typography, which reminded me when someone asked me what my favorite typeface was at the time amongst other things to do with type.
Now I like typography as much as the next ISTD attemptee, but I've noticed of late that some people seem to wield the term as some kind of way to make them look cool. For example when people joke about using Comic Sans, sure its a horrible looking typeface but I'm sure there is going to be a moment when it'll be perfect for some piece of work. A good example is above, a poster made by the Royal College of Art showing a typeface called 'Serious Sans'.
