Modifying the blog

I'm currently trying to style the blog like my website I created for my 2nd year. However I've put some code in to make the tabs transparent but the text is doing the same. Expect the blog to change every 5 seconds as I try to clean it up.

Meanwhile heres a couple of pictures of my website, haven't got it online but hopefully soon it'll be live.
